Classes offered:
Open, Youth, Senior, Novice, Pee Wee
Novice: Either horse or rider has earned less than $200.00 in lifetime barrel racing winnings.
Pee Wee: May not enter Youth class if entered in Pee Wee. Open to riders 7 and under.
Directions to the Sonoma County Fairgrounds:
The Sonoma County Fairgrounds is located in Santa Rosa, California. Take Highway 101 to Santa Rosa. Exit 101 onto Highway 12, Eastbound, towards Sonoma. Exit Highway 12 at the Downtown exit. Upon raching the surface street, Bennett Valley Road, you will come to a stoplight, and just in front of you on your right will be the Sonoma County Fairgrounds. Go past the main entrance to Brookwood and turn right (this street turns into Astin). Follow the contour of the fairgrounds – you’ll see the Chris Beck Arena as you get near the rear gate to the barn area. Look for the open gate & sign at the entrance to the back gate.
If you are coming by Highway 12, Westbound, take the Downtown exit, and thru left at the stop light. This will lead you to the main entrance. Turn left and continue to Brookwood. Turn right (this street turns into Astin). Follow the contour of the fairgrounds – you’ll see the Chris Beck Arena as you get near the rear gate to the barn area. Look for the open gate & sign at the entrance to the back gate.
