Yes, we’ll be having the dog races again this year at the State Show. Thanks to the hard work of Krystie Hinkle Kay Brink, Katie Ward and Julie Lane, we are able to continue this program. We will take signups for the Dog Races until 10:00am on Saturday morning. We have scheduled a one hour break at rider 200 on Saturday to accommodate the race and to provide the riders after 200 with an idea of when the barrel race will resume so their warm up strategy can be adequately planned.
Dogs are classified by size prior to competition, so you must pre-enter this event on-site and have your dog measured. The sign up table will be in front of the show office.
